Since 2007, our surf school in Bloemendaal aan Zee has been providing surf lessons. Over the years, we have shared our passion for surfing and the North Sea with tens of thousands of people. We only use the finest equipment, located right on the beach, and we are thrilled to share this ultimate joy with anyone who is open to it.

Surf lessons for children
During our surf lessons, we playfully introduce you to the sea. You’ll learn a lot about nature, and we ensure that everyone feels comfortable. Additionally, at our surf school, you can “surf” at the surfclub and join our kidscamp where you’ll make lots of fun friends.
So, if you have an A + B swimming certificate and you’re at least 6 years old, sign up now for your first surf lesson at Rapa Nui surf school in Bloemendaal aan Zee, and join us in the water! And don’t worry, we have super warm wetsuits.

Rent a Surfboard, Wetsuit or SUP
Looking to practice after your surf lessons? Or perhaps you want to surf in Zandvoort but don’t have your own equipment yet? At Surfana Rapa Nui in Bloemendaal aan Zee, you can rent a surfboard or wetsuit. This option is available after just one surf lesson or if you already have experience. Each season, Surfana Rapa provides a fantastic selection of surfboards for every skill level.

Our surf school is located on the premises of beach pavilion Rapa Nui. In terms of location, it is actually part of Bloemendaal aan Zee, but just within the municipality of Zandvoort.

How to reach the surf school?
Public Transport
Our surf school is easily accessible by public transport! Take bus 81 from Haarlem or Zandvoort train stations and get off at the ‘Bloemendaal, Strand’ stop. Environmentally friendly too!
You’ll find us at beach pavilion Rapa Nui. It’s the southernmost beach pavilion in Bloemendaal aan Zee (when facing the sea, it’s on your left).
Car
Navigation address: Zeeweg 100, Overveen
Parking is available at the Bloemendaal aan Zee parking lot. Use the parking spaces on the boulevard south of the ‘Poort van Bloemendaal’ (large gray building).
You’ll find us at beach pavilion Rapa Nui. It’s the leftmost beach pavilion (when facing the sea) in Bloemendaal aan Zee, but it falls within the municipality of Zandvoort.
