Surf Portraits

Get your own surf portrait captured at the beach by photographer Sabine van der Vooren.

Taking inspiration from ‘Surftribe’ by Stephan van Fleteren, Sabine focuses on capturing freckled faces and the longing gaze towards the sea during Surfana Festival 2024. Take a refreshing dip in the ocean or, even better, have your photograph taken right after your surfing session. No modelling experience is required as Sabine is a professional portrait photographer who will guide you throughout the process. Trust in her expertise!

Ensure you arrive wearing your wetsuit or swimsuit, and if you wish, bring along your own surfboard or any cherished surf-related items like a hat, necklace, or poncho to create a unique and personal surf portrait. You can also opt to have your portrait taken alongside a friend or partner, with a maximum of three individuals per portrait.

*Forgot to bring your own surfboard? Don’t worry, we have one available for you at our location, situated by the beach next to Mifune Surfschool.

*Each 15-minute session includes one surf portrait.
